We are so happy that all the Waterloo girls have been sponsored and will be feeling the love and generosity of the best fanbase around. You guys are awesome. Although it's not as obvious on the auction site because we have not listed individual names, there are still sponsorships available at the $200 level for about 10 girls in Freetown. So ... we have $190 raised - well done, everyone!

Now, it's time to get ourselves organized. Here are a few important details.

If you follow this link to the "group sponsorship form" for the Freetown girls:

you will notice the following that at the moment, it appears that all sponsors must be prepared to donate equal amounts, or a minimum of $200 divided by 12 = $16.67 - since the maximum number of sponsors allowed in the form is 12

I have emailed the Batonga Foundation to ask if they could change the dropdown menu for the number of sponsors so that it goes up to 20 sponsors in a group (which would see each sponsor donate $10).

If this were possible, then some of us would fill out the form once (to donate $10), some of us would fill it out twice (to donate $20), and some of us would fill it out 3 or 4 times (to donate $30 or $40).

Batonga has not replied to me (yet) ... I hope that they might do so tomorrow (Monday, February 22nd).

The form also specifies that payment may be made by credit card only (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express).

This presents a bit of a hurdle to those planning to pay via PayPal.

If some of us cannot pay via credit card, then I am willing to pay from my credit card on your behalf. I have a PayPal account, so you can pay me via PayPal, and I will fill out the form in your name and use my credit card number.

As you can see, this is becoming a tad complicated. We need $10 more to complete our sponsorship, and .... there are only 3 Freetown girls left (as of now, Sunday evening, 9 pm EST)!

So, I am posting this message here, and I will PM it to each Board Member in our group. I will also send this message to GFC / GFA, in hopes that they might be able to assist.

Ladies, I hope to have some good news and a solution for you all soon ... and in the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could let me know via PM if you wish to do a PayPal transfer with me so that I can pay on your behalf via credit card.
