I've been disappointed at the lack of an Illuminations DVD.  It seems to me that Josh's voice is better than it's ever been.  I am wondering if fans, pooling their collective media, might create a crowd sourced DVD for the benefit of FYL.  Of course, necessary permissions would have to be secured.

Here is a demo video that Alec2011 made based on YouTube videos -- though I think fans have better media, YouTube quality being low.

I wonder what people think about this possibility.

I'm amazed, and thrilled, at how well many of mine turned out. This was from row 4 center. (I'm surprised my hands held that still, as I was by the aisle, and Josh had walked right by me...touch...several times, during the concert). Swooner: Your videos are amazing. The sound of Josh's voice is so clear and your equipment picks up the higher harmonics of his voice very well. I don't think I could hear that well when I was in his concerts. The sound system in Tulsa must be especially good. I think the Nebraska one was very good also. Next time perhaps I should try to fly to an arena that seems to have better acoustics. The Prudential Center in Newark was horrid. Madison Square Garden was acceptable, but not nearly so good as what you got.

I wonder how we can get more people to notice this thread.

Thank you!
Interesting, I figured every arena-setting would sound about the same...and that Madison Square Garden would be "the greatest". I'd be glad to share mine, if a project comes together.

I don't know, but Josh said there would not be a DVD for the "Illuminations" tour.

I don't remember, but it didn't seem "excruciatingly long"...though any wait for Josh material seems "forever".

Oops, I was a few months late in seeing this.
Thank you, Jenann! I don't know how either lol. At that concert I was sitting row 4 center, right next to the aisle, and Josh walked past me several times, and I touched him each time! You'd think my hands would be so shaky the video would look like an earthquake lol.
Now this was a real swoony moment!

Josh has specifically said there won't be a DVD of this tour, though I have found out that there are some fan made ones circulating that are amazing.
